In fact when I had a previous problem and went to a computer repairman and asked them to install win 8 while they were at it. There is nothing whatsoever wrong with anything else on my computer. This nforce installation results in win 8 saying there is no correct ethernet driver after doing a search with each driver I download from every concievable source.
With the previous win xp pro, I had no such proble and I was able to solve this problem by installing Nvidia Nforce which comes with ethernet support for my cable connection via Time Warner my internet service supplier. HOWEVER, I just loaded Windows 8 32 Bit which loaded perfectly EXCEPT I now have no internet connection as the device manager indicates that there is no Ethernet driver. The following is my computer information. I've been at it for days and can get no where. I would be deeply grateful for any help with this.
